Magnificent central location, next to the downtown core where shopping and restaurants are and free shuttle to the center city and Halifax 2 days after Dorian. Welcoming staff members at the reception desk. Spotless room with a clean bathroom and a safe, multi-channel TV, and a refrigerator.

Lavish and upscale hotel, stayed here for 2 nights and had a really great experience. Impressive unit on the top floors, we enjoyed it.

New beds, downtown location, clean rooms
An additional parking fee caught me off guard!!! The noise from nearby ambulances and partying guests ruined my stay. Lack of communication regarding parking validation and service during a power outage was disappointing!!!

The hotel is at a 20 minutes walk from the harbour and at 10 minutes from Dalhousie University, which is a little bit less central than the other ones in the area. However, the rooms are spacious, the bed is good and the price is, though not cheap, a bit lower than the other hotels. I could get some work done at my desk and the internet was fast and free. Hotel staff is, like most Canadians, very friendly.
I could hear the voices of the two women in the room next door very clearly. There is neither a minibar, nor a fridge in the room.

Possibly the best and really great stay for a night. The courteous and informative staff and their quick responses to my needs. Units with good beds. Central heating, iron/ironing board and an electronic key card were nice. Central location close enough to Halifax and downtown, and bright and impressive room.

The service was excellent, the desk clerk went out of her way to find us a room with the best view for our price range. It was easy to check in/out; the hotel was on the transit route for easy access to the waterfront. There were amenities such as a pool, spa, and gym that all guests could enjoy, not just those who paid for luxury suites. All in all a nice experience.
The television had poor reception, odd considering the price of the room, and the air conditioner was an older unit that did not circulate the air enough

Just a proper fit for a couple of nights in Halifax with all in all great value for money. Runs & Tania were great hosts and helpful with all my questions. Make sure to check on coffee and water refill regularly if you're staying a while.

would consider staying here again
The Platinum room was spacious and featured air conditioning, a coffee machine, and a private bathroom. Clean towels were missing once but requested promptly. The fitness center and indoor swimming pool were nice to have. Great location made exploring the city easy. Only downside was some noise from other guests.

Room decor was a bit tired, good gym and pool and location only 10 minute walk from the centre of town.
Unfortunately the reception staff came across very rude and even scruffy which marred the stay.
